LG To Introduce LTE Tablet Optimus Pad


LG on Wednesday officially announced the Optimus Pad tablet LTE. The device is equipped with 8.9-inch display that offers true HD IPS sharp 1280 x 720-pixel, 8-megapixel camera, an SD card slot expandable to 32GB, 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting, HDMI-out and mAh 6.8000 batteries. It's powered by Qualcomm's dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and running Android 3.2 (Honeycomb), though no word if it will upgrade to 4.0 new Ice Cream Sandwich Android operating system. Optimus Pad's first LTE will make its debut in South Korea but, as happens with Optimus LTE, we would not be surprised to see the U.S. model in the future.
